Klangstigar to be released on 30 August.
14 July 2026
After more than a year in development, Klangstigar will be released on 30 August 2026.
The album brings together eighteen original songs inspired by places — and, in some cases, people — across Sweden. Performed entirely in Swedish, the project features melodies written on location for all but two of the works, creating a close connection between each composition and the place that inspired it.
The recordings feature musicians from several countries alongside vocal performances by Frida Choi, Isabella Le Gall Bengtsson, Anna Johansson, Karl Ytterberg and Simon Kölle, with additional performances by the Umgibeli Zulu Choir.
The release follows a special live performance of "Abbekås", one of the album's eighteen compositions. The piece will be performed at Abbekås Harbour in southern Sweden by choir and musicians shortly before the album's release.
